Okay.... it started out slowly back in december, the interior lights would flicker and my headlights would get dim. My odometer would read error.... Then i started having problems starting the car... it would just *CLICK* Took it to autozone they said my battery was dead.. replaced the battery... $68.00...car did the same thing.... took to a mechanic and he said my alternator was bad.. replaced that... $150... still didnt fix it... took it to ANOTHER mechanic... he said it's my starter.... $250.... my car still is not fixed.... I'm out of money and at my wits end... ANY help would be very appreciated!

Please don't be rude to me.... I just came here hoping for some help.... I cant afford to take it to another mechanic to take his good old time looking at charging me $70 dollars an hour and then tell me I need to replace something that he only *thinks* will fix it.

Um I think there was a recal on a starter wire, check with a GM dealer, find out if there is a recal, maybe theyll fix it for free !! Remember to ask first though, dont just take your car in. If they fix something they will charge out the bunghole if its not a recall.

finally, someone was able to find out what was wrong.. there was a bad ground wire underneath the battery somewhere... it's all good now...
As far as the recalls.. I had them done first thing and they didnt make one bit of difference in starting. Thanks for all of your replys.
