Brake problem

Im having problems getting the lower pin off my brakes so that i can change the pads. Its stuck tight and the head is stripped. What can i do to get it off?

You are probably gonna have to drill and reverse tap it..... or use an "easy-out" lots of weasel piss and elbow grease... I had similar problem few years back... I found removing the caliper mount with the caliper on it made it alot easier to get to the posts... if you have a bench vise you could clamp the head of the bolt in real tight and turn the rest..... or grind two flat sides on the stripped part and use a wrench or whatever..... just mcgyver it!!!!! lol hope this helped.

i had to change my name cuz i was banned for it, anyways, i figured it out. I had to disconnect a screw holding the brake line up and take off the top pin and let it swing down. It was easy after that. I guess when i feel like it ill change the bottom pin. Its not hurting anything right now...lol
