1993 Buick Century Brakes..

I just baught a 1993 Buick Century with the 3.3 engine.
It Runs Smooth, nice-clean ride. but when i'm on the X-press way and i have to brake, it seems if the brakes Pulesate's when it comes to a Stop.
Is there any trans issues with this car also?
