Eclipse and Talon Forums Merge?

this thread will be stickied for 2 weeks so get your vote and comments in now!

Whats your aspect of this... yes or no? i know a lot of people already in the eclipse forum that own talons and everytime i go to the talon forum it is so dead and i believe that we could help out the people that only post in the talon thread it they were merged together! there are a lot of unanswered questions in that forum that have been answered here! if you feel like adding to this go ahead... if enough people like the idea i will push this and try to get it to happen!!! so... vote and post away!!!

Honda and Acura are merged together. How about a dsm forum and the sub forums under it with eclipses and talons that go to the specific cars. We do have a lot of b.s. threads.

just merge them but set it up so that you can get to them from either manufacturer in the main menu but the end up in the Talon/Eclipse/Laser forum also try and get the same setup for the 3kg/stealth. IMHO the honda/acura menu is way more complicated then necessary just make it one forum with links to it in both places.

or if you can't get them to change it that much just put a sticky in the laser/talon boards saying to go to the eclipse boards becasue theres more people there :biggrin:

yea i am working on the Talon/Eclipse/Laser forum right now and YogsVR4 is working on the 3000GT/Steath forum!

i think its a good idea... talon and eclipse fit together like oreos and gummy bears.. ok that makes no sense but yeah sure.. its all the same and more the better i say!

they're the same damn car. why not. everything covered in here pertains to the people in the talon/laser forum. and I"d be willing to bet that the eclipse forum has a lot more goin on. so why not come here?

If we can't technically merge them.. then tell them to get there lazy asses to the eclipse forum

oh if there is enought people that would like to see it merged i will work at it until it happens!

just playin really, i know it will pass so i just wanna be the one vote with "no", just don't make it too complicated, people are as dumb as it is searching through this place and they may not know they are basically the same car...just my opinion

i agree. i think they should be merged. there should probably be a note at the top to tell everyone that they are the same car just in case anyone is confused.

I think it's a great idea! As you (RST) said, maybe we can help someone out who might otherwise end up just paying someone to replace parts until their problem is fixed.

I know this is not a big deal but if they do merge where are they going to put it.. still in the Mitsu catagory?

Seeing as there is no Laser forum ( :rolleyes: ), you may want to see if the Plymouth forum mod wants to put a link in the "Nonspecific" section as well. I try to get to the questions in there when I can.

As for the merge; yeppers.

I honestly cannot think of a reason not to merge the two...so yea, I think it's a great idea.

I tried doing this back in the day, no one gave a shit. I even talked to the head dude. Thats when I gave up on this place.
