Rear End Question

Ive got a friend with a 1995 Chevy Silverado 1500. I need to know what the bolt size rear end is, what the stock gears are, and what would be good to go to. Hes got a flowmaster exhast system, the 5.0 engine, and 30X10.5 sized tires. Thanks.

its probably a 10 Bolt. You can call a dealership and give them the option codes in the truck and they can give you the gear size. You can also find the codes on the internet

jus get under the truck and count how many bolts are on the diff. cover

i have a 97 z71 1500 and it has a 14 bolt rear with 3.73 gears if thats of any help
