Custom Cold Air Intake w/ Tutorial

Well, after I discovered the clip that held my intake had broken off, I went back to CNC Motorsports in Ontario, to where I will never return, unless to brag. I waited for an hour and a half and finally just said forget it, give me the clip, ill fix it myself. On the way back on the 10 freeway, my friend and I were trying to figure out how to make a cold air intake, when we decided to go to lowes. That is how it all began, and you can view it all here:

Enjoy, and I will tell you how my mileage is with it, but i did notice tremendous power through the car, and I might have lost a little in the upper ranges, oh well, it looks cool. I would say that the bottom vent is necessary for this to work, and as of right now, I've burned 1/8th of a tank of gas and gone 60 miles, I am hoping it will stay that good, it's amazing. :) enjoy the photos
