(91 Accord) Useless Buttons?

Okay I'm tired of wondering, I'm just going to ask. What are the the little button look-a-like things on the dash? Located by the Cruise button and by the rear defroster button. They just look like place holders.

The blank next to the cruise control switch is for the sunroof switch on EX/SE models. The blank next to the rear defrost switch is for the fog light switch (an accessory item, not standard on any '91 trim level).

On that note...last year I got a set of fog lights for my '91 from a Honda dealer for $140. I've seen used sets go for more than that on eBay. The dealer had to order them and when the parts guy looked them up on the parts locator, he said there were 14 sets left (I think he meant nationwide). I'm sure they stopped making them over 10 years ago, so I thought it was pretty amazing they still had any left. Get 'em while you still can!

yea mine has a sunroof switch next to the criuse and the empty one next to the rear defroster i just put a alarm so thats my red led light spot and my model is se soo

Can you buy a button and connect devices through it? Like a powered antennae or a on/off switch for under chassis lights? Just a thought.

Yes, alot of people do that with aftermarket stuff, like extra fog lights or something of that nature.

hey tom anyway you could post a pick of what the fog lights for your accord look like on? i can't think of a 4th gen with factory fog lights...

I have a 91 accord with fog lamps. How do I replace the bulbs? Need help on this one because I bought one of those Haynes Manuals but they aren't in there. :(

i know a guy who has access to any jdm part you want! he gets ahold of his friend that lives in japan, and he can get anything you like, from jdm 1pc headlights, to the jdm bumper pole, to the seat heater, and fog light switch!
