Wuts better stick or atuo

alright, what saves you more gas, and what is better to drag race in, i guessing the stick maybe better in saving gas due to that u may keep the car in low rpms, and i'm guessing auto may be better in a drag due to consistant power to the wheels, but i'm not sure so give me what u know :banghead:

Stick does save little in but not enough to buy one for that sole pourpose. IMO for drag racing an auto. is better....

my 6 speed gets around 30 mpg on the highway if im going easy. the autos will do about 25

the auto's are consitantly in the 1.9-2.1 60'
and are way more consitant down the track.

now seriously you are not going to keep this thing stock if you plan on drag racing it so why even worry about gas milage?

having said that.... everything you bolt on to the motor will give you better gas milage. all you are doing is making the engine run more efficiantly than stock. thats where the power comes from and thats where the better gas milage comes from.
