Just do a motor swap-- If you have a SOHC swap the whole thing --- if you already have a DOHC do a turbo conversion. I eat V-8's from a roll!!!!!

that would be a custom job, no one makes them more than a one off.

That would be something I would pay to see...good luck. If you get it to work...figure out how to fit twin superchargers under the hood with it....

why would you want to put a 350 in a 3000GT??? That would make it even more heavier than it already is.

Ok, let me be the first to call major MAJOR BULLSHIT ON THIS ONE!!!! lol, how is it "built" what does it have, please explain. I had a complete internally modified and externally modified 400CI chevy small block in my 69 P/U. And that only made 490hp/490 ftlb. naturally aspirated.
Is you engine forced induction? if its supercharged the basic rule of thumb on power making by way of blower motor is a 50% increase of base N/A power give or take a little bit.
So,your 350 would have have to been making somewhere in the 600hp range N/A just to make 900hp BLOWN!!!!
If you have this supposed engine, it will never fit, good luck making a rear wheel drive 3000GT, because that small block is not going to fit transversally mounted period for a FWD or AWD setup. and btw, this means new tranny mounts, postions, and custum cut driveshaft to fit you custum mounted rear end off of some other RWD car.....
SO MAJOR BS!!!!

since the engines are transverse, you'll have have to cut out part of your dash, i know one person is in process of a v8 conversion, but its taking lots of time, fabrication, and TONS of money.

i do not know a ton about domestic engines so i am not sure what a 350 V8 came in but i think it is a small block chevy (anyone?)
that being said, i would like to think that i do know a lot about the 3/S and this question comes up a lot. this is by far not the easiest or cheapest way to get the power. the easiest and cheapest way is to work with the stock motor.
now with that in mind, if you really want to do this with a v8 for some reason, the easiest way will be to put a 3kgt body on whatever chassy the v8 orriginally came in and just sue the stock suspension, frame, motor, etc, from that. maybe fit some 3kgt interior parts in there if you want.
as others have said, it will be very very hard to do this by putting the v8 in a 3/S. the stock engine is a transversly mounted v6 and it is CRAMMED in there so a transversly mounted v8 will be very very hard to pull off. also you would need a different tranny most likely and custom mounts for that and you have to rework how you plan on getting the power to the whells from there and you have do decide which wheels to power, etc. if you want to do this it would be easiest to mount it normally and convert the car to rwd. i highly suggest you start with a vr-4/tt as well because it will be a lot harder with a fwd 3/S (if you can't figure out why, you should not attempt this project). in this case you will probably have to cut the fire well and remake part of it.
finally, unless you have lots and lots of experience with cars and custom fabricating parts as well as lots of really expensive fabricating equipment or a hook up with someone who does OR you have tons and tons of mony to burn and time to waste and you would rather spend more money on this project than you would need to get the same performance out of a stock vr-4/tt engine... i would not try this. if you do meet one of these criteria, go for it, i would love to see the end result and see how you did it, post LOTS of pics

i dont know exactly the internal mods... but it is blown. it was pulled from a racing blazer that had been tboned. the dyno tests said 885 hp or something close to that. so its not bullshit. he had nos on it... but im not sure if that was with or without it. ill have to ask. didnt think about all the tranny mounts and stuff... hmm... how much you think we're talking? like 3 or 4 gs?

please god,,... take the retardedness away from this person, a blazer is a suv, and who races a blazer or spends the money to make one handle 900 ponies, and one more thing WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU PUT AN AMERICAN V8 IN A JAPANESE SUPERCAR. :eek7: :eek7: just a friendly question

I'm disinclined to believe a 900HP blazer motor.
Any chance you can post pics of this beast and a dyno slip? It'd go a long way into silencing the critics (including me).

900HP out of a V8 isnt insane, but from a blaser........
And to those who wonder why put a v8 in a 3000gt. Im pretty sure If I blow my engine up Ill put a V8 in my car. I like the feel of one a lot better than the small v6 with turbos. Either that or a supercharged engine from a NA. I like V8's, but I like the 3000GT look a lot better than the look of any car that a V8 comes in. Why not mix and match?
