i need to know what else to check .. i have replaced and made sure the pcv valve and hose are clear .. made sure the oil returns are clear .. this was a sudden onset problem .. the motor still runs smooth .. not missing, plenty of power. could the head gasket be blown? if you have an old manual for this model i would be interested in purchasing it .. i would pay up to $10 and first class mail cost.

you could try to replace the pcv valve and install a breather filter right on the valve but then you would need to clog up the hose that goes to the intake

i have replaced the pcv .. i am goiiing to do a compression test today ... if i have a bad cylinder .. i have been told that is a good sign of a broke ring. if that6 is the case the problem is terminal. i cannot put $500 into a rebuild on what is basically a $500 car when in good operating condition. i have considered putting an oil reclaimation system on it and reusing the oil it blow out until it just completely blows ...
