this is getting retarded

i have noticed more and more that a few of the moderators are just banning for the hell of it because some noob accidentally opens an old forum or posts something they dont like. if you dont like it dont read it but since this is a street racing forum and this isnt about street racing im sure i will get banned and all that stuff so i will post a story. i raced a civic and won with no problem. good times

Sorry...I have to agree. I've watched this forum for over a year. Mainly being a lurker and only posting when I have to. And I have noticed the frequent closing of some threads I was interresting in, and seeing where they went.
Also, seems like some members complain and get on to 'n00bs' more then they used to. - Thats one of the reasons I never became a big poster...always afraid of getting jumped by you guys.

We're not banning the hell out of 'noobs'. We're banning the hell out of people who come onto AF to start trouble.

We close their threads, and any off topic thread that has little or no point to subject matter of the forum i.e. Racing. Off topic threads have their own forum. We try to keep them there, keeps things nice and tiddy.

Threads, that ask "Can I beat a..." will be closed. Nobody cares, go race the damn car and find out. If you feel like posting about it, then feel free to let us know.

Threads, that ask "What car should I get..." will be closed. There's a sticky explaning that we, the AF populous, cannot make the decision for you. It's your money buy what you want, and enjoy it.



If a member has problem with the way things are being run, they can simply click on this: Log Out (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/login.php?do=logout)

I can see closing old threads.. read and reply to whats been posted on the 1st page, maybe the 1 1/2 page at most.

The mods havn;t been banning noobs for no reason there assload of trolling wanks past few weeks the mods are doing there job *for shame right?* be happy they are there and on top of AF

I think they've been doing a reasonable job so far getting rid of the anoyyin noobs causing trouble an all.

If anyone has a problem with how this forum is run, go start your own, plain and simple.
