Toyo tire problem at 85 mph

I was goin' back to college Sunday around 10pm and i started smelling a burnt rubber type smell, but I just thought it was comin from outside, so i payed it no attention. I was goin around 85 mph at
the time and my car lost control, then it did about 2 and a quarter full
rotations. The whole time I was thinkin', please don't flip, please don't flip. Well...my car didn't flip, but when I stopped spinning, i was facing opposite the median and my car wouldn't start...I was right in the middle of the road! I had just passed a Jetta before I lost control and there was an 18 wheeler in the distance. I was just thinkin...get out the car, what if they don't notice that yur car's in the middle of the road...so i started to get out of the car, and then changed my mind and decided to give my ignition another go. Luckily it started, and i pulled onto the shoulder. I checked all my tires, but all i found was some cold tire tread, so i just figured i ran over and big rigs old tread and that's what caused the skid. But I checked my tires again and i felt all the way to the back of the rim and my tread had split...(ocay, imagine yu've got a pizza, and yu split the crust away from the cheese.)That's what happened to my tire. The accident also cause some pretty good damage to the passenger side of my body kit (front bumper and side skirt).

Now I'm just wondering is Toyo responsible for anything other than replacing my tire? ie - body kit damage or maybe cash compensation for emotial distress?

I only know the Belgium (european law) about this. So I don't know if it can be of any use. Actuelly it's like this: a manufacturer can be held responsible for damage caused by a defect of his product. So if you have prove that their was a defect with the tyre you can hold the manufacturer responsible.

BTW: the law here is that they pay for damage caused to other things then the product itself. So they don't have to replace your tyres (exept when you've got a garantee) but they should pay for the bodykit or any other damage. This is as there is more damage then 575euro (=575$). If their is less damage then they don't have to pay, above this they should pay for everything.

youd have a pretty hard time proving it was their fault..its hard to tell what could have made the tire split like that.. Could have started if you hit a pothole or something..
