I have an early 95 2.2 liter in a beretta. the engine has a miss when at speed 30-50 mph. The car surges slightly when at a steedy speed. Changed plugs, wires, coils, no codes show up. Down to the injectors or the ecm. Read about a similar problem where the intake air temp sensor might have been the problem. Any suggestions.

i know that throttle positioning sensors are said to normally start malfuctioning at 30-40 mph. maybe try replacing that. keep it clean and mark-free when you install it and you can return it if it don't fix your problem.

I have a 95 2.2 liter Cav and had the same problem you had it sounds. I replaced plugs, wires, coils, tps sensor, brain and none of that worked. I finally found out that it was my egr valve that was not working. I blocked up the vacuum hose on one side and the egr valve on the other. Since then the car runs great with no surges. It's very easy to do. Hope that helps.
