well its pretty awesom, i love bmws. just a couple of things, the left hand flared wheelarch sticks out just a little too far; the right headlight looks to "open" (i cant describe it), i mean that the bulbs are the right size but the rest needs to be narrower...sorry for the bad description
apart from that not much, jsut generally clean up a few lines and it will be awesome

yes I agree... considering I spent just more than an hour on it... and that the hour was 11:00-midnight... its actually pretty good if I do say so myself.

I really like this.
The only thing I would do is to get rid of the text up top.
That is just me though.
Awesome work. It looks very proportioned and you have excellent free hand skills.
If you want a more semi-real look get rid of the hard lines and keep your shading strokes close together and then blend some.
I personally like the sketch look. :iceslolan

it looks good now but if you would have spent a little more time on it, it would have been even better

I like it. Great proportion. I normally like the smooth shading but I like the short strokes you did.

Yeah, I think that you should smooth it out some. I like it, but I say it would look much cleaner if you smoothed the shading

this is a sketch, a freehand drawing, and it's purpose is to be that. perhaps it could be a foundation or study sketch for a greater purpose. but as a stand-alone sketch, it is pretty damn good, fella.
you got skill.

ec437, you have permission to use reference pics. how else can you know what the car looks like specifically? i can tell you did sketch it from a pic and glanced at it. that is perfectly legit. the only thing better is to have it in front of you in real-3.D space.

yup you have got the size of that headlight correct, and al the other stuff has been cleaned up
just a lil thing, the headlight size is good but its a bit angular now, it needs to be smoother and more rounded for the beemer model ur going for. other than that its pretty awesome

Groovy. I'm gonna assume something either happened with the color with the scanner, or you didn't have a red marker. Very good technique on the coloring though. Personally, on the windshield banner, I wouldn't have put the word "power," cause I'm not much of a fan of words on drawings. It's highly delicious, and appears to have been a good exercise.

markers??? that's in colored pencil. I almost always only use yellow, blue, and magenta for colored drawings. I mix them to get the color/shade I need. For this one I used black and white as well.
PS I added some yellow to the red portion of the car so it looks more true to the picture now.

why can't he color it the way he wants to?
why can't he put words on the drawing? renaissance masters did this regularly.

there's the updated one. I included more of the background this time.
PS sorry about the quality I accidentaly set it on 72 dpi and saved it as a medium jpeg. I'll have to fix that.
PSS crap, the left headlight is screwed up again. Might take too much effort to fix though, considering that it's already colored.

Heheh whoops, I meant colored pencils-I refer to everything as "markers." Just because I said something doesn't mean he "cant" do it. I'm not much of a fan of words on drawings, cause unless it works perfectly with the drawing, it screws it up.
Anyways, this thread aint about beef or whatever, so: good drawing.

It looks good, but the shades need to be smoother.
