Help Tara? (car probs)

Okay.. my car.. the tranny went out in it.. got it back a week ago... it's been driving good up until yesterday when I was driving and it just died.. it started back up fine and I made it where I was going to and back w/ no problems.. well..that afternoon it went dead on me.. and I had to buy a new battery (when tested it said it was the batt).. this morning.. my dad :( drove my car.. he said he had no problems..well I get in it.. and it's fighting to turn over.. now we don't think it's the starter.. but if that's what I get most of, then that's what I'm gonna have looked at... Any idea what it is? we were thinking it could possibly be spark plugs cause I have a corroded (Sp?) one that they wouldn't fight to get off for fear of breaking it off.. could that be it? It feels to me like it's not getting enough gas to start up.. but I dunno.. Yall help me out ;) My baby's sick.. we gotta fix her.

change your plugs and wires and maybe even the coil,it also could be the starter ,check theses things and see what ya get swetty,good luck and lemme know if ya need anything else

If the starter cranks strong, it's not the battery or starter. I assume you or your mechanic has made sure the fuel is getting where it needs to go? Also, you can't leave a bad plug in because you don't want it to break. Have to pull it sometime.

and it's fighting to turn over..

If its slow to turn over the battery may be dead, since you replaced it, the alternator might be dying. Its not charging the battery causing it to turn over slow.

yeah definatly have to alternator tested.. like joe said that plug has to come out sooner or later too.. but im wondering if the fuel is getting there myself.. maybe the fuel pump is on its last leg or somethin cutting in and out.. explaining why it runs fine then dies? as far as turning over slow maybe they gave ya a defect battery or somethin...
