Hey!!! , here it is my so called early alpha release of the drawing I am working on. I have made a decision to show you guys my progress on it cause most of you will enjoy it!
Any way I hope you get the idea of the final product when it’s finished, ill keep the progress going” I hope” cause my busy life is a great draw back when it comes to putting 5-9 hours of drawing. This drawing of Mclaren F1 LM (3mill dollar car) took me 5 hours to draw to this point, I think I have another 8 to go, but when I am finished it will look much better then this. Oh I one more thing, I decided to post my concept of Mercedes I did straight from the mind, got inspired after looking over some drawings done by Chip FOOSE. Hope you like it!!!!

Looks good so far, but a couple things I see right here. It seems like you're outlining the car instead of letting the different shades create the effect of the different sides. Also, on the back wheel, the angle is leaning out. When you get to the back, make sure your back wheel is at the same angle as your front wheel.

:iagree:
And as far as the back wheel, I guess its +3.5Camber. :cwm27:

Concept- I like it, except for the wheels.
McLaren- Everything AirAllen01 said, and your grille is a bit off.

Your F-1 is looking great.
I would add darker tone to the car. Perhaps you have plans to, I realize you are not finished.
I look forward to seeing this completed.
Peep this car by StuffbyAlex. It is a great example of dark tones.

Thanks for examples, i have to run to my local art store and buy few varieties of pencils since i only have one(HB), well that’s the effect if you draw with HB but i expect of darkening like the example stated I use the stack of different contrasts pencils that I am going to get. I haven’t drawn anything to the car yet but expect some update during this week, bye!

This drawing of Mclaren F1 LM (3mill dollar car)
Sorry man, I can find an F1LM for waaaaaay less that 3 mil. I think it was in the area of 1.5 million Euros.
make sure your back wheel is at the same angle as your front wheel
Actually, that is incorrect. According to proper perspective drawing, the two axles of the car reach the same vanishing point. At this angle, the two axles have about a few degrees in difference. Also, according to perspective car drawing, the axle lines (the same ones that you draw through to the vanishing point) cut the wheels in half, close to 90 deg, making the rear wheel, in this case, lean less that the front wheel. At this point, the Macca is portraying a few degrees of positive camber in the front, while about 8deg of positive camber in the back. You don't necessarily have to change the front wheel, it looks fine, but the back has to be substantially changed.
Just thought I'd clear it up :D
Oh yeah, good drawing. :iceslolan

Looks good, Im not sure if it fully backs what you were talking in Stuffbyalex's post though...
As for the concept, the grille and back wheel are off. But the paint is tight.

they both look pretty good. the bottoms of both cars' rims look like they're tilting inwards.
On the concept, i like the paint... not diggin the rims though. Also, the merc logo seems too close to the driver's side headlight IMO.

Sorry, I just overestimated. I remember it being mid 1mil, but I wasn't sure on the numbers, better to aim high... I think it was www.carclassic.com

concept sketch is ok. looks like a cross between concept and kartoon kar.
F1 LM: mirrors are "one is higher, one is lower" --watch perspective planes; baselines.
camera left wheel hump/arch seems to end abruptly, like it is a flat-earth cliff, whereas camera right wheel hump, arch flows freely over the wheel. this may account for mis-matching mirror baselines.
rear wheel is totally off --too crooked, not straight up and down like front wheel, like rear wheel has extreme camber problem.
