are you sure you don't have a leak somewhere? that would do it. I think if you get compressor surge the BOV will make a "joojoojoo" sound instead of "psheewww". haha. shitty explination I know, and I"m not even positive if I"m right. but it's what came to mind

where would the leak be...? anyone got pictures of theirs so i can see if everything is hooked up correctly!? i am hitting top boost and when i let off it does the wierd sound...and my oil pressure guage shows it lower than norm any connection?

I dunno if it would effect the oil, but just check all your cupplers and stuff. make sure everything is on there correctly. also make sure the BOV is on there nice and tight. you didn't forget the gasket did'ja? haha. Just look everything over. and screw the BOV till it's about halfway between hard and soft. thats the sweet spot I found. Good luck!

is there any way to tell if you got it right without driving it down the road? yeah i got the gasket on there, just sucks when i push on the gas and my boost guage just sky rockets but with no show for it

then your spiking.. bad. do you have a boost controller installed? what psi are you running? how high is the guage reading? and is it only at wot?

I would def look everything over and re-tighten it. just to be safe. also, which sound is it making between gears?

nope no boost controller installed...i haven't touched anything to give it more psi...and no it does it without being at WOT, it makes like a hiccup sound between shifting

would the uicp have anything to do with this?

hmm, hard telling without hearing it in person. even if I did I probably wouldn't know haha. hopefully someone can diagnose it better. sorry bro. I'd check for leaks, and just loosen up the BOV a bit. you might not want it that hard on stock boost. Just my \.02

ahhhh, damnit pissin me off...am i allright to drive it as long as i don't kick in the boost, because next weekend i am heading home from college (500 miles) and i definately don't want to f*** anything up

the sound it makes when i push on the gas bout half way is a hissin sound and at this time the stock guage is about half way and once it hits the top my car kinda lurches like it had to gulp or something i dunno, i tried tightning everything down, even the s pipe to the throttle body, ell i dunno!!! shite this sux

sorry bro, don't know what to tell you. but a hissing sound would make me think that you def have a leak somewhere. like the air escaping somewhere. I dunno what to tell you. if everything is tight, and you have the type s adjusted to about halfway, you shouldnt have any problems.

As far as going home, you should be fine. On long trips like that you're not boosting unless you gun it so nothing should be hurt. You might wanna wait and see what everyone else has to say though. just to be safe. I"m still learnin this shit as well. Hope everything works out man.

k this may be the problem, there are two different sizes of the rubber connectors for the pipes, i put the shorter one on for the s and J pipe while the longer one for the J and lower intercooler pipe...is that correct? (dejontool pipes)
