1996 aurora Keyless entry prog HELP

Hi im a new person here,,, i bought a 1996 olds aurora with 80K on it... nice car i have to say.... here is the thing.... i did not come with a remote for the key less entry,,, so i went to ebay and got one for $20.... now i need to program it,.,,,, i read a couple of messages here something about jumping the 8 wire with the 4th by a fuseable link... hers is my problem where can i find that to jump the wires..... i also tryed others by removing the MALL PGM... didnt work in the front fuse panel,,, mine only said PCM..... i also took out the back seat and saw a couple of fuses thier,,,, i need help also under the dash thier is a small hook up with 4 links on the top and 5 on the bottom.... HELPPPPP

That small hookup under the dash where you need to be. That is basically your connector where a scan tool gets plugged in. You're just kind of tricking the car into thinking you have a scan tool. You are shorting the two pins on that connector together- you need a fuse in your connecting wire in case you get it in the wrong hole. You don't want to be frying your computer instead of programming a remote.
