We have a 93 Lumina 3.4L which does not have any spark on the center front and rear right plugs. We have replaced the plugs and wires. Both plugs are connected to the far right end of the coil pack as you sit in the car. The car started doing this suddenly while turning left under power. Anyone have an idea.

well since 1-4 share a coil and there is no spark on either one of those plugs, I would check the coil (swap coils and see if the no spark moves)

How do we get to the coils? They are impossible to see and I can only reach them with my fingers. We are back yard mechanics at best. Do we disassembel the from of the car to reach them?

Can't fathom the cause, but rotating the engine will most likely help you get to the coil packs. The procedure is plastered all over this forum, though its pretty basic: put the car in neutral, parking brake, unbolt the dogbone mounts from the engine, pull forward, secure in forward position. Though the 3.4 dohc engines are quite the beast to work on, so best of luck to you.
