front grill ..replacing..

does anyone know a good way to put in white mesh behind the grill without having to spend $120 and buy a new grill with white mest on it already? I know a few ppl who cut the black out of the orginal mesh and put in white bodykit style mesh.
i want to do this, but is this the only way of doing it
also does anyone know where i can pick up an SI symbol? like the red si (sir -Canadian)ones on the grill of the new hatchbacks...?thanks
