Hello every body.
my new project is 1\24 mitsu evo vii.

now i want to ask you some questions :

1. i didnt understand exactly how to self build body kits and stlying the exterior the way i want(materials and way of work..). (i've read the manuals.. :[)
i would appreciate if any 1 can explain it to me, thx.

2. what colors do u think i should color my evo, i am thinking about :

metalic black, silver flames, red interior and white rims + a special surprise witch i cant talk about now!

thx for comments :)

body work.....it is pretty simple. sheet styrene .030 thickness. it cuts easy with scisors. then you can just bend it around the bumper to get your basic shape. i start with a styrene base and build around. get the basic shape of your body kit with the styrene. then get your hobby putty and start filling in. then all you have to do is sand the putty after it is done drying. you might need to keep adding putty to fill in small arears but it is pretty easy.

hey, WELCOME TO AF!:)

for body kits use styrene and putty, build the basic structure with styrene and sculpt it with the putty.

personally i dont think flames would suit that particular car just my:2cents:, its your car!

Styrene is what any model is made out of. And aluminum sheet is a type of metal that people use. You can get the styrene at any local hobby shop or craft store.

Personally i don't like the paint sceem. But it is your model. But it for your self. That is what i do. I build for myself.

As howielong said: Build for yourself. :) But just as a suggestion, very bright and very vivid colors suit the evo well. For instance Italian red (one of my favorites :naughty: ) And off course, as any car, black is always nice.
