Does this price sound right? Nitrous...

Three questions:
1) I was quoted a price for a 75 shot NX Nitrous Kit, Remote open, BOttle Heater, pressure gauge, and Purge Valve for 1250. It has a 10lb bottle. Does this sound right?

2) They told me that my car could handle a 75 shot easily as long as I don't stay on it for longer than 25 to 30 seconds, keep the bottle pressure monitored, and don't abuse it... What does it mean to "Not abuse it"

3) I am also going to upgrade my tires. They told me to go with 225-40-18... I was thinking 235-40-18 because with that 75 shot my worst case scenario is going to be 315hp at the crank when I spray and my tires already slip in first once I hit V-tec as is. Probably more like 325-330hp at the crank.

Thanks for any info you guys can provide from previous experiences.

1) A base NX kit is 553 bucks, the genX2 upgrade is 368 bucks (heater, blow-down tube, gauge, blow down tube + purge) and the remote opener is 225 bucks. 1250 sounds a LITTLE high, unless they're installing it, in which case it sounds like a good deal.

2) Not abusing it means make sure you're using a wot switch, and fuel pressure safety switch, an RPM pill switch would be nice, and don't put 20 bottles through the car a night.

3) Doesn't matter what tires you get, you're not getting any traction with those big, heavy, short sidewall 18's. Your best bet would to get some 245/40/18 BFG drag radials. You could make em work if you rolled the lips and did some work in there with a BFH.

or just run some OE steel or alloys with some track tread..and swap them around for each track meet...thats what i would do considering the prices of 18" rubber..plus OE rims would make ya a lil quicker

oh yeah and as far as the question..im with boosted the price is in the zones..i mean even if it doesnt include install its a lil high..but if the place is local so there gonna be easy for you to deal with..that money is worth not going thru an internet hassle if theres a problom
