I jsut got a magnaflow cat-back for my 96 civic ex, and with it came a test pipe. I was wondering if i could use that and just make my own bung in it for the 02 sensor. Anyone know if thats possible or if there any other idea that I can do?

Came with a test pipe? Why would a cat come with a test pipe?

the O2 bung is just a nut welded over a hole in the pipe isn't it?

thought so.. is there any sort of rubber gasket involved? maybe on the o2 sensor? cause i'm thinkin of puttin a 'custom made' test pipe in.. (sorry to steal the thread civicracer) any idea on the size of the nut required? i'm thinking since almost everything on there is either a 14 mil or 17 mil it'd be one of those?
thx

Don't worry about it, we're both looking for the same answer.

you can by the bungs from autometer and probably the auto parts store. if you want to use a nut you can just make shure its the rite thread and you dont need a gasket there is a crush gasket on the o2 sensor

Just the aforementioned washer, a rubber grommet would be melted inside of a minute.
