idling=die

ok when i drive my car and i just let it idle it dies. it just started tonight I was driving home earlier today and it was fine. but then when i started going home whenever i let it idle it dies even when i am stopping and i put it in neutral wether the clutch is up or downit just dies and so i always have to keep my foot on the gas. i am guessing it just has something with setting the idle. but any help would be appreciated.

Well assuming you have a KA series motor, the problem is most likley the EGR. I had the same problem and fixed it by servicing my AIV and EGR, along with making all vaccum lines correct and secure. The FAQ on 240sx.org covers your problem thoroughly.

well, even tho jspec nitemare is probably right, i'm still gonna put my lil commentary about checking your spark plugs if they haven't been changed in awhile. my hadn't been and was causing my idle to fluate almost to the point of stalling. then i put in ngk iridium tipped plugs and the idle is a lot smoother now.
