Weird Audio Problem

I got a 1988 Honda Civic hatch n I put my old system from my old 1990 cougar into it. I have a Pioneer Head, 2000 watt legacy amp n 2 12 inch audiobahns with 800 peak each. Now I used this setup for like 2 months and never had a problem. I installed it in my hatchback and I am not getting enough power to the amp. The LED on the amp barely lights up and nothing comes out. The LED only lights if the RCAs are connected too. Ive tried different batteries. I am using the same wiring kit from my old car 4g power n ground. The remote wire is good the head unit works fine its just the amp isnt getting power or enough. I checked all fuses, rewired the Head unit re ran all the wires, different grounds and I got nothing. Its odd if i take one of the RCAs n touch metal it will make static through the speakers but the other does nothing and if I plug that one RCA into the amp the LED lights a tiny bit but not enough for anything. Could it have something to do with the wiring from the stock to after market clip for the head unit because I am all out of ideas.

Your head unit shouldnt have anything to do with the amps power. It only sends a signal through the RCAs. And the remote wire only turnd the amp on and off. You can try hooking the remote wire from the amp to the ignition wire off of the deck. Maybe the remote wire off of the deck is goofed up. I doubt it but its worth a shot. Check the ground off of the amp. That may be it.

Well I check the ground like 4 different places. If the remote wire was messed up the head unit wouldnt turn on though right? Also which is the ignition wire.
