A/C idle up relay

When I turn my A/C on in my '87 22RE the engine idles down and idles rough. I just recently heard about a A/C idle up relay that's suppose to idle up the engine when the A/C is on. Is there such a thing? Maybe mine needs to be fixed or replaced. How do I find it?

Anyone have the answer?

have you checked the belt? my 4runner's belt is for both the idle and the A/C..

I think you'll have to look on a different engine. As far as I can tell, your engine doesn't have an idle-up valve.
