Hi,
I'm trying to install a new radio in my Corsa. Problem is, the old blaupunkt that is in there doesn't want to come out.
Has anyone removed a radio from one of these (without a crowbar!) and if so what was the trick??
Thanks!

You have to remove a bolt in the back side, is very difficult, maybe you need the help of another person with a little hand. This is the only secure for the radio.

Did it yesterday with mine, it takes a lot of tugging and a small hand, take the bolt at the side at the back n just keep wiggling it and tugging it

Where abouts are you?Have you got the Head Unit Out and jus the cage left or is the head unit still in? if the head unit is still in and the U tools wont fit, that is because there are 4 grub screws int he HU, a small allen keys sorts them out and then the U tools will work.

I live in uk and own a 2001 corsa club. The stereo is a blaupunkt 2003 (cassette player). I have the grub screws out and the holes exposed. I've attempted to use the dinn keys, but I can only remove one side of the head unit. The passenger side will not release. Can anyone help??? I don't want to damage the orginal unit.

Use small allen keys, push them in their whole length. After removing the grub screws. Put your hand in the coin pocket under headunit and pull while jiggling it up and down.

you will have to damage the original unit if you wish to use the plastic fascia.
