If I were to purchase a 1969-1971 generation of the Chrysler Newport, is it a good car? I just like the look, and its customizability. And how about an AMC Hornet, 1974 (in inspiration of the one used in The Man With The Golden Gun) :lol:

The Chrysler is really a solid piece. The suspension design (leafs in back, adjustable torsion bars in front) really makes lowering easy.
Try to get one with a 440 if you can, for max power, although all Chrysler engines were indestructable.
Just watch for rust, especially around the frame mounts for the front and rear springs.
The Hornet is fine too, although it was intended as an inexpensive car, so rust resistance is not so good. Look for at least a 304 v8, although the best set up is the Hornet 360 SC. Those things can turn 13 sec quarter mile times with just a bit of intake and exhaust work.
