Who would like an Ox locker for their X?

OX doesn't make a Locker for the Xterra, but maybe they will if enough of us show interest in it.
I've sent an email asking if they have any plans to develop lockers for the Xterra (I'm guessing the answer will be no), but if they find a lot of X owners want lockers, maybe we'll have more than ARB and SLR to choose from (and not have to replace the LSD to fit the SLR detroit locker).
I've been talking to a few people, and have been hearing different things about the Eaton locker and when they are going to release it. While I'd like one, I'm not holding my breath for them to release it.
If you'd like an OX locker, send an email to show your interest. Maybe if enough people Email, they'll make us one, eh?

Just an FYI: Truetrac who makes the Detroit Locker DOES NOT make an application for our trucks, they do for the older 31 spline H233B axles though. It would be nice to have some choices other than the ARB, Eaton is hoping on the train and I tried to push Powertrax last year but to no evail...I'll have to try again with them...maybe another petition?

I had contacted them about an OX application for the Xterra. They don't and didn't seem to be real excited about pursuing it.

How reliable is a cable-actuated locker? I've heard of the name OX but know very little about them.
IMO... From having dirt bikes my whole life, I know cable maintenance can be frequent (lubricating, replacement, and cable stretch). I'd rather something that requires as little maintenance as possable.

Ah, I had read that they made alocker that could be used if you replaced the rear dif, but noithing about the entire axel.
If you want to do another petition on Powertrax, please let me know. I'd be willing to put my John Hancock on that, Although I would prefer a locker along the lines of the ARB or Eaton where you can choose when to engage it and disengage it. Frm what I have read, it apears that the Powertrax Lock-right Locker is essentially always on (oversimplified) and is not engaged or disengaged by the driver.

Apparently the OX lockers are not designed or compatible for 3rd member designs since they require their Diff covers.
So I guess this is a moot point unless they make a totally new design

I think I will wait to see what Eaton is going to do.

Yeah, OX lockers sound cool but we're lucky to get the Eatons' so soon, I'd rather see what happens with them first.
