i have a 91 hb and i changed it over to power steering. it wasnt to hard you might want two people to do it though. lowering the old rack and raising the new rack is much easier that way. if i remember right it was only four main bolts from the bottom and one bolt from the top on the back side of the motor. think i paid two hundred for the set up. had a new rack and the power steering pump with hoses. just make sure you get and alinment when your done. the suspention has to come loose also. the contol arms were the hardest part. the new rack just had nubs of them but the bolt holding it in really really didnt want to come out. the old rack ended up getting torched. but in the end it was worth it.

well yeah. its a good yard though. the car it came off of only had like 60 thou on it. my tranny i got from him only had 45 thou on it. he does shit the right way. picked up a b16 for my buddy civic and it looked clean as hell. thought i coulda been new almost. good luck with the swap and let me know how it turns out.

oh yeah if you have to use a torch to heat up the contol arms to try and get the bolt out, you'll wanna replace the bushing. they're not to expensive from honda, just have a shop press it in for ya. a big hammer just wont do the trick no matter how hard you hit the bushing.

be aware you need the crossmember as well. i have one as well but it might possibly be bent :dunno: it was pulled out of a sedan we used to own
