Taurus running rich?

Is it possible to determine if my 2000 SE is running rich? When you took your foot of the pedal at speed, for example 60km/h, it seems to take a long time for the car to start decellerating. Could this be because it's running rich or is it just because it's a tank! ;)

I think it's because it's a tank. My '98 does that. I can be following somebody at a good distance, take my foot off the gas and still almost get too close(especially down hills). I always thought it was the bearings spinning very free.

My '99 does the same exact thing, especially when i'm minding my own business in a subdivision, take my foot off the gas and seem to speed up. Never really bothered me though.

Mime also does the same thing!.... it really dosnt bother me that much

It's the tank thing that roll above you head also contributes.

I managed to drive for 1/2 mile on a straight, flat road at 50km/h with my foot off of the accelerator. I also noticed that if I put the car in drive and take my foot of the brake and not touch the accelerator, it seems to pull away pretty quickly. I'm new to driving automatics, so this is probably normal, but it seems overly keen to get going.
