Can anyone suggest a discount parts supplier or website to buy an aftermarket cat. My bosses has a 2000 blazer and he got a dealer quote of $1100. GM Parts direct has one for $800, but if anyone knows anyplace else, and cheaper, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

Just so everyone knows, the blazer has 83,000 miles on it. I heard from someone they are warrantied up to 80M. If it weren't for bad luck my boss would have none at all. Anyway...any help as to were to buy one cheaper than $800 would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone have any info about "free flowing cats" as to how they work and whether they meet emmission standards. This has been mentioned on another BB.

yeah i know somethin about free flowin cats, cut it out with a sawzall or a die grinder (not a torch...cut it clean so u can weld it back in), and just put it in a vice and take screw drivers and punches and hammers and such and bust all the guts out of it cheap and easy
