Napa just started carrying a new line that i have seen used here recently, its a compound you buff into the lense itself and it works pretty damn good..altho the name of it escapes me..but they could tell ya at Napa......Silverbolt the moderator reccomends Mothers Mag Polish..i have heard it works but have never seen or used 1st hand.

put ure headlights into an oven on a cookie sheet (200 degrees) for about 5-9 minutes (or until the glue is pliable enough to work with) then using gloves, pull it out, and work the front encasing off with a flathead screwdriver.....then work your way all the way around the light making sure not to break the clips that also hold it on....
once ure inside, you have to unscrew a few things (i'm sure u'll figure it out) and u can get to the yellow part and paint it black, cover it with aluminum tape, or whatever else you want to do.
also...i'm not so sure they made a 98 Si...thought the Si was just 99-00 for that model...anywayz...if it's the 96-98 model as you claim, then you will have to snap the yellow part off the light from the inside.
have fun...lol...cheap asss......
