1996 sunfire, leaking valve cover, trying to repair without spending alot, don't have the repair manual, could anyone tell me
1. what to torque the valve cover bolts to?
2. Is an order specified in the manual?
3. Does it say to use a silicone sealer or nothing?
Thanks to someone if they could look this up for me in their book!!

just pull the cover, put a new gasket on, and tightin it not too tight, but not too loose, after it gets snug do about a half turn or so, if it still leaks i would replace the valve cover

I believe the torque specs are roughly 12 pounds if i remember correctly, be sure not to tighten them too tight, remember you are bolting into aluminum.
