Heres one for you guys

Hey guys I was wondering if I could use the stock intake and throttle body off of a 305 and put it on a 350. I'm thinking about putting a 350 in the 88 but dont want to make it carbarated like my 82 is.

you can if the 350 block is 1987 or newer. otherwise you have to find L98 heads or use your 305 heads on the 350 block

can you put l98 heads on a 305 lb9? im not sure how theyre different but i heard they can add some power..

well the years didnt change applications for head to block mounting, the thing that changed was the intake bolt arrangement. so any 350 block will work just fine. the problem will be that the TB will be to small, get one off a 350 TBI truck, or a holley unit. and yes if you put 350 heads on a 305 it would lower the compression signifigantly loosing power.
