marker rendering of Land Rover for Y&R agency

here is an example of a marker comp for an ad agency i did today (13 May). i used xylene based chartpak ad markers and touched it up with prismacolor pencils on the borders to give a sort of "faux conceptual" look. this is a comp for a print ad campaign:http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/55975land_rover_1-med.jpg

i rendered it in about an hour. i used a photo reference. the marker rendering stuff is all free-handed.

just remember i traced the outline of it, so that alone saved hours of time. the rest was just marker rendering with highlights of prismacolor. the art director "just wanted it done."

wow bonzelite your job is awesome, what do you really do if you dont mind telling. I am currently at a tech high school taking Advertising Arts and am looking forward to doing car designing etc. Awesome job man!
