Ok my 240sx drives great, but when the rpm goes under 900, it makes a strange noise. It sounds like a scrapping/clicking. It goes away with any amout of gas which makes me beleive that it is outside the block (not certain). I think it is the injectors but I am not sure. If anyone has ever had a similar problem could use some help! Are there any known problems with 240s that relates to this? :screwy: :disappoin

probably your timing chain. Listen very closely to the front of your valve cover.

Let me give you a brief idea, my brothers altima had warped heads, so he was paying me to fix them, after opening the valve covers, viewing the job and inquiring about some parts from nissan, lets just cut the long story short, the car is in N.carolina, sold to someone. I removed the thermostat and put in a better water pump to prevent quick overheating while running at the auction. Good tale tale sign of warped heads is overheating and bubling in radiator.
