Hi guys,
Is it possible to write a script for Mac OS X that will automatically mount a network drive when the network profile is changed?

Well it depends on what kind of network you are running on. What kind do you have? But if your on wireless Aiport, you can set it up to automatically stay on a network if it is changed.

It's on a wired network in my office. We have one guy with a mac laptop that he also uses on other networks (home etc). The server is Server 2003, 2 computers on XP, 2 computers on 98 all through a 6 port router.

OK, so you say the Mac is runnig with with 2 PCs on XP and 2 on Win 98. You will have to choose your wired network setup (ethernet, dial up, etc.) Ethernet should automatically join if you type in the servers address and password.

Yeah, the network runs fine. The only problem is, whenever he wants to access our HDD, he has to reconnect the network drive every time.

Oh, that can't be done I would prefer setting up a wireless sever in your office I prefer Aiport from Apple. Its not as fast but, you won't have to reset the network drive alll the time plus all you need is one Airport system it works with any wireless PC card or Airport Mac card.
