restoring headlights

alright i love my headlights, but the clear shell is starting to look kinda weathered. is there anything short of swapping a new front piece that will make it look better? and is it even possible to swap a clear front piece from stock headlights onto aftermarket projectors (i guess i'm just assuming that the aftermarket companies base their shells around stock lamps)

projection is on teh housing itself not the lense ! and you cannot swap your lenses, a new assy. is the only way, now you can of course buy a set of projectors if you want...you can try buffing your out with headlamp polish...NAPA has a new product they have started to carry for using on buffing headlamps and if its possable to come out this will do it...i have seen it used altho have not used it myself....you seem to sound fond or projectors...just get a set and be done with it..as long as your paint is still great, otherwise that will look stupid

who's talking about the projection piece? i'm talking about the giant clear piece of plastic that is in front of the bulbs, the one that looks exactly the same no matter what type of headlights they are. also what are you talking about with paint?

fool? dude first off it doesn't matter whether they were projection or not. obviously you didn't get what i was saying if you're saying stuff like 'projection is on the housing itself not the lens'. fool.

and only moderator's close threads. maybe the person who started it should be able to, but certainly not anyone who feels like they have the power to
