how do i get my mustangs hp over 100

my 89 mustang lx hatchback has 88 hp. i would like to get it over 100. what type of intake and filter should i add to give it more hp, and maybe some more minor tweaks?

You can do little stuff, but you'll never notice a difference with a 2.3L unless you do some expensive custom work or an svo motor swap (2.3L Turbo). Well how about a v8 swap?

umm filter exhaust P&P lighter pulleys i'm not really sure whats out there for the LX motor but i'm sure its do able

There are plenty of parts, such as cams, rods, heads for the 2.3L motor. But you best bet is to find an old T-bird Turbo Coupe in a junk yard and use that motor with the turbo.

steps to increase horsepower to above 100 in a 4-banger:

1. remove 4-banger

2. install v-8

instant horsepower! works every time!
