here is a stupid question but how does bhp relate to rwhp? all the older cars are rated as bhp, and i looked up a formula to convert it unfortunatly you need info i dont have so i was just curious.

bhp is what the engine produces. rwhp is what hp is actually put to the ground. After the hp travels through the flywheel, transmission, drive shaft, rear diff it tends to lose about 15%! :iceslolan

FYI they switched to Net HP rating is 1972. Here is an article on the difference but erricer said the same thing.
