I am still shopping for a new car. I am down to 2. A 99 gti with 220 hp and about 245 ftlb or a 97 trans am. I dont care about any thing but which is faster. I haven't driven either one so I don't know. I was in the firebird fourm and they sound like stock they run low 14 I know this gti will do that or better. Help me. No f bodys suck crap just facts.

These cars will drive very diffrently, I have a 03 gti and have put very little $$ into her and have made a ton of power over stock and retianed stock driveability. I also have a 91 mustang, I have dropped tons of $$ into her and she is fast, a lot faster than my gti, but it just isn't as fun to drive!!
