Motorcycle Cops

Dos anyone know if motorcylce cops have a camera? I want to get off on a speeding ticket (my 1st) and i want to know if they have any proof?
I live in Seattle Washington if that helps. I got the ticket for 42 in a 25 and my tabs were 2 months due, should i challenge it?

45 in a 25? that's not very smart and is rather reckless in my view, and is actually reckless driving and reckless endangerment here (I'm assuming it was a residential area due to the limit of 25). If you wanna challenge it, be my guest...frankly, you're the reason my job's so hard. Dealing with someone who's been hit with a car, esspecially a child, is not an easy task. I have no pitty for you.

I am 99% sure that i was not going 42 mph, because there was a mustange in front of me that kept getting farther away. Then when i got to school the guy who owns the mustange was asking how fast i got a ticket for. I told him 42 and he said no way because he was doing 45 and was getting farther away much faster. So i think the cop didnt clear the speed from the mustange and got me for that.

how much is the ticket for?
basically if the cop already ticketed you, and drove away, you're stuffed. might as well pay it - unless its a matter of principle of course. Theres a certain reasonably high-profile journalist/owner of a motoring magazine over here who recently spent over $5000 trying to get out of paying a $120 speeding ticket :) ( he got ticketed while on the south island of NZ and flew down there from Auckland several times for court appearances).
In your case though you might as well bite the bullet and pay up though.

lil kids run out, cars back out of driveways, pets run around.....if you hit them you kill them...or make them go through life changed for the worse....

Now that's just a stupid. I'm not saying I never speed, b/c I do like everyone else. But speeding is never 'fine'. At any moment you can lose control of your car take out another one and kill that driver or yourself. But I agree to drive the speed limit in neighborhoods. But if you don't drive what some parents consider a normal car they give you that look like you're speeding.

I've actually had some guy yell at me saying "Slow Down!" I looked down at my speedo and I was actually going a few under the posted limit.

I'm not mad because I drive a camry. In fact, I quite like driving a camry, it's not fast, but it's comfy, and reliable, and has a lot of room. They're not mine either, they're my parents cars, so there's not much I can do about it. Then again, I don't need to justify myself to the likes of you.

I think banning him was the wrong thing to do. Since he just copy+pasted another person's post just as a joke, with no intention of pissing someone off... And if you read the thread, you could see he was just poking fun, I don't even think he was trying to break someone's balls. Naki if you did the same just playin around and quoting someone who said not to say it, and if someone demanded an apology for something as insignificant as that, I am sure you would be one pissed off hornet.

As far as stealhj himself, he does make a lot of people pissed off, including me. In the past he has told me to "suck a dick" for no apparent reason and started beef with me. And he pretty much flamed everyone else in that thread and got a lot of ppl pissed off probably just for his own enjoyment which makes him an asshole. And he's has many many warnings, but I'm surprised that this time out of all his other flame posts was one that got him banned again.

And I think you need to know the whole story before you go passing judgement. That post was the last straw. He was warned, he got banned. Thread closed.
