1998 Accord Engine Problem

I've been having this problem with the engine making the whole car feel like it's going over some rumble strips. Not a speed bump, but the small rumble strips that warn you about a stop sign ahead or something. This is not just something that you have to really pay attention to to notice. This is quite noticeable. It occurs between 35-45 miles per hour, and continues until I floor the gas or let off the gas. I've tried to pay attention to the RPMs when it happens and it's always between 1750 and 2250. It won't happen if I accelerate at a high rate, because the engine is only a four cylinder so the RPMs are much higher when I accelerate faster. It usually happens if I get stuck behind someone on a road going one continuous speed (usually 40 mph).
Has anyone ever had a problem like this before? If so, what was causing it to happen? Thanks in advance for the advice.

I have seen some transmissions make some funky noises when they are on their way out. If it goes away when you let off the gas, it is very possible. Generally, the axle seals will start puking trans fluid shortly before or after the bearings go. I havent seen it quite as loud as what you are describing though...i hope thats not it!! also check all of your exhaust heat shields, they can be pretty loud and annoying also, and much more common...hope this helped, thats the best i can do with the info ive got!!
