paint for interior

i got another? i got my 200sx ack from the body shop last night and i tore out the interior but now i want to paint all of the interior plastic and dashboard and what not what kind of paint should i use and should i sand all the pieces down so the paint sticks to it? also any suggestions on what color i should paint the exterior im thinkin black
