yo, watup...new to this forum...got my 1990 240 sx in january. It has 136k kms on it but the odemter works off and one so im guessin it has 150k kms. I was wondering what kind of simple performance upgrades that i could get to increase my power close to 200hp? N e suggestions?

yeah, SOHC 240sx. for 200hp, you need the sr20det. cuz an na set-up would still cost alot to get up to 200hp. even the dohc models would be tough.

Turbo The Ka... You Could Get 200hp For Less Than A Sr Swap.

Hell You Could Do A Ka Stroker For Less Than A Sr Swap And Probably Get You An Ass Load Of Torque Which Is What Makes A Car Fast When Accelerating.

im from canada BC. now the turbo...is that a pricy job? I wanna know how much i would be getting into. And i got a few other problems on my car that are quick fixes but i don't know where or how to do it. my odometer works off and on...i know its a loose connection but i don't know where to find it...also when im in 2,3,4,5 gear, i get a 1 sec hesitation...somone suggested it was a fuel filter...thats my guess too. my antenna won't go down....but it can go up...not all the way...but it goes up. and i probably got the most common problem...my seat is broken...expensive to fix? cuz its pretty fuked.

the hesitation might be your injectors, go to a car store and get some Fuel Injector cleaner. It can't hurt to give them some love even if it's not the problem. Whats wrong with your seat? Just all ripped up or mechanically messed like wont stay in its place and stuff...

Might want to fix up the car first before putting any upgrades, if your car is hesitating the last thing on your mind is a turbo or more power.
Fix the necesities, do a general overhaul then talk about power upgrades.
I got S14 seats in my room, don't need them, no rips grey and very clean, but I live in GA so shipping will be a bitch.
