Newbs!

Ok, as we all know summer is comming up fast and this means highschools are starting to let out.When this happens these boards will be filled with stupid questions being asked instead of being looked up and flames wars galore( i actually like reading those).

I think that it is up to us senior members of the boards that have been here long enough to try and teach Newbs not to piss off our regulars. I really don't want to come back from work and see this thread torn to shyt because we lost control of these newbs. I believe our moderators should select a few people here to "push" newbs in the right direction. I mean, the moderators are not always gonna be here to close newb threads, but if we could calm them down or sumtin an take control of the situation before we get all that harsh name calling.It's really just sort of a recommendation to help us all out before we begin the second generation of flame wars!

I think it's going to be OK really. Carrnut is around quite a bit and lately I've been so damn bored at work lurking AF has almost become my job.

if you see something ignorant do what you can to fix it, if you just come of flaming newbs it just makes it worse.

Like I said, we the moderation staff are going to implement some rules for this section of the boards. There is no need to worry. People that break the rules, new or old, will be warned and then banned if they persist in breaking them.

There is also a thread already discussing this, there is no need for two.
