turbo coupe swap

yes ok i need some help my turbo 2.3 blew up and i had an extra 5.0 ho laying around and began to swap them out but the wiring didn't match so i pulled a enging wiring harness and computer out of a 88 5.0 thunderbird and put it in my car now i have it all hooked up except the inside down by the kick panel there are extra wires and i don't know where they go the plugs dont match and the wires are all different colors i am so f***ing pissed because i cannot figure this out so any help as to where i can get a wiring diagran specific enough to tell me which wire is which that would be great and any other infop would be great also

Chiltons has a decent wiring diagram but I don't have mine anymore since I no longer have my '88. They are only $15 or so at a parts house. You could even run down to your local Ford and look through theirs if you don't want to buy a the Ford service manual.

You can also try your local library and ask them if they have the Motor's electrical book for your year car. You can photocopy the pages you need for less then a buck.
