im builting a d series and i want to know if anyone knows if there is a difference between the skunk 2 intake manifold and the JG edlebrock intake manifold. i want to know if the plenuims are the same size and bore. and if the runners are the same size and bore. and if there are different power gains. i already have the JG edlebrock throttle body, and a AEM cold air intake so with the intake manifold i should have a better power gain.

i'd go with the JG edelbrock intake mani.. the skunk2 is just basically a copy of the type R mani... please tell me you have an aftermarket exhaust?
edit: come to think of it.. i've heard that VictorX are really nice intake mani's.. maybe look into that?

The JG is more recommended for boosted applications, most of it power N/A is way up in the RPMs, and won't really see any good gains till you can rev and up the compression abit. The Skunk2 is a better choice if you [plan on staying a basic configuration.

I have the skunk2 manifold and I love it. I saw a nice power increase around 7000 rpm, definately pulled harder. I think the JG looks better though and is probably a better manifold.....wanna buy a skunk2?
