Crazy possesed ranger

Hi there! I have a possesed ranger. Please help... I tried to start my truck today and when it started it continued to try and start over and over again. So i turned to key off and took it out and the stupid thing was still trying to start. I tried to pop the clutch to stall it but it wouldn't die... this went on for about 5 minutes... can you please help me... I live in a small towm and I can't get it to a mechanic to fix it.... Thanx for any help you can give....

Sounds like your ignition is broken. Either that or the starter is going out. But it's most likely your ignition.

This problem is in the Starter Relay. I had the same problem in my 1986 Ranger. If you thump on the top of the relay with the handle end of a screwdriver you can get it to stop. It will come back again and again. The only permanent solution is to replace the relay.
